What happened in June

Posted on Jul.06, 2009, under Adwords, Goals, Streams of Income

It is the time for the monthly report!

So June was a great month, unfortunately not so great in terms of cashflow. I tried a new campaign that didn’t do so well, I didn’t lose but the profit was very small. Besides that, good stuff happened in June.

The highlights of the month:

  • I have been to the Affilicon Israel 2009 convention, which was really great. I have learned a lot but most important I met a lot of amazing people.
  • I got a great great idea. This is basically a service for affiliates in the area of landing pages. I am currently in the development process, you will hear about it soon…
  • I am creating my own ebook and soon I will be a vendor.
  • I bought a ticket to Affiliate Summit East 2009 and I am going to USA in a month!
  • I got engaged and going to marry the most beautiful girl in the world!

Okay and now for the revenue report:

Expenses:

Adwords

This is total of $1,364 in adwords.

Yahoo adCenter

Yahoo adCenter

This is total of $85 in Yahoo adCenter.

Total expenses: $1,449

Income:

Clickbank: $1,400
WeSell: $22
Adsense: $34
Total income: $1,456

Profit: $7

Yep, 7 bucks…

Next month I hope I will add a couple of couple of zeroes to that number…

What happened in May

Posted on Jun.01, 2009, under Adwords, Goals, Streams of Income

May was a very interesting month for me.
On one hand, most of the month I was a Medieval Mercenary Warrior. On the other, my real first passive income has begun this month. Another great thing is that the ideas’ fairy has came to visit me.

For the past 7 month I tried different Affiliate Marketing Strategies, constantly trying to find these great niches, those products, these campaigns that bring me the juice. I tried a lot of products, mainly from Clickbank but also some from Copeac, and finally I have found one product that is giving me constant passive income!
So here it is… Give him a big round of applause!

Clickbank

Clickbank

This is total income of $778 from Clickbank. Here is the new graph from Adwords (I love this new graphs):

Adwords

Adwords

This is total expense of $421.
Which means $357 profit in 2 weeks from one product. This is great start!

So this month I went on a short vacation in Italy, and the money was still working for me. Every now and then I found an internet cafe, checked that everything is okay and went back to drink great wine, eat great food and travel in beautiful sceneries.

Italy

This is how I like living!

In addition to that, I have small website I’m promoting naturally (SEO), a website that compares leads in a specific niche. This week I got to the first page in Google with my main keyword and little income is flowing from that direction too, yha!

What is going to happen in June

First thing, I’m planning to finish my commitments and stop being a Medieval Mercenary Warrior!
The other very important thing I’m starting to do is taking into action a nice idea I have, which is a unique service for all affiliates and marketers. You will hear about it soon…
More than that, and if I’ll have time, I would like to create my own product for Clickbank. I think it is very wise to create your own product. When you have a successful campaign for a specific product, especially ebook, write the same ebook (different content but same idea) by yourself (or hire writers for that) and just switch the product you are promoting with your own. Then start recruiting other affiliates for you and walla! You are on a great way!

That all, I need to go and get ready for Affilicon 2009!
See ya around!

Finally, Some Action!

Posted on Feb.26, 2009, under Adwords

My new strategy is starting to pay of. As I said, I have choosen a product with pretty high competition and high gravity. At first I lost a lot, I paused the campaign for a day and did some changes. I got rid of bad keywords (as a general rule - do not bid for one word phrases!), and put the campaign back in the air. Now I make 1-2 sales each day and the profit is close then ever.

It feels so daam good!

Take a look at my Clickbank screenshot:

Clickbank

I know this is is not much, but it is a start. I will write more about it soon!

Affiliate Marketing Strategies

Posted on Feb.21, 2009, under Adwords

I have been thinking lately about strategies for affiliate marketing.
My strategy for the past 3 months was generally to look for a unique niche product with low competition and  unique keywords with high search volume and low competition.
I was afraid of competition & afraid of the need to pay high CPC.

So I tried one campaign after the other, each of them with low CPC and high position keywords.
The results were not remarkable, to say the least. Low conversion rates.

This week I’ve been thinking, maybe there is a reason why these words have very low competition. Maybe there is a reason why these products have low Clickbank gravity. Maybe the reason is that those don’t convert well.

Therefore, my new strategy is to go for high gravity products and pretty high competition keywords. And how I will be unique from all the other advertisers in the adwords arena? I will write good ads and good landing pages.

Another question that occurred to me is maybe I am not risking enough money. Like all of us, I am afraid to lose, so I go for low CPC and low daily budget for each campaign (about $30). I think I need to risk more and be afraid less!

What is your affiliate marketing strategy? I will be happy to hear.

$100 Per Day

Posted on Jan.18, 2009, under Goals

I don’t want to be rich. Well… This is not precise, I guess all of us want to be rich, but this is definitely not my goal. I don’t want a huge house and fancy cars, I don’t want luxurious furniture and a pool.
All I want is FREEDOM.

My first step towards this freedom is earning at least $100 per day until the end of March 2009. This is not too much to ask! I believe I will do it!

How will I do it? Affiliate marketing big time. I have decided to focus only on affiliate marketing for now. No Ebay, no Adsense, no email marketing, only affiliate marketing through Adwords.

Maybe others will say it is narrow, but believe me, you can work all day, all week - only in affiliate marketing through Adwords. Of course my duty is to report my progress to you!
