The Spiritual Affiliate
Posted on Aug.01, 2009, under Spiritual
I am almost finished reading an amazing book that I must share with you. The book’s name is The Diamond Cutter. It is written by Michael Roach, an American, who moved to a Buddhist monastery, lived there for 20 years and got the degree of Geshe, the highest degree for a Buddhist academic monk. After 20 years, they sent him from the monastery with a mission: go back to America, join a modern company and implement the principles of the Buddhism within the company. The result was that after a few years Michael brought that company from a loan of $50,000 to a yearly volume of $1,000,000.
In the book, Michael explains very clearly why some business man fail in the same market where other business man succeed greatly. Or in our case - why some affiliates succeed while other affiliates in the same field or with the same persistence and effort, fail. I am sure you will say to yourself “There are a lot of reasons: products, keywords, landing pages, bid management…” but the true, the root reason why one fails while the other succeeds is deeper than that…
In the book, Michael explains that the reason is “mental registraions”.
Any conscious act you do in your life, creates a mental registration in your sub-conscious. If you did a negative act, like lied or harmed someone, you will create a negative registration. If you did a positive act like being truthful or helped someone, you will create a positive registration in your mind.
Those mental registrations created effects. Those effects, or results, can be manifested days, week or years after the mental registration was created. And the results, as you can guess, will be negative or positive according to the registration that created them.
I am sure you hear about Karma. This is basically what Karma is. But the problem is that most of the people in the western world think that Karma is something lie this: “if I will do something bad, the universe (or god) will punish me”. It is so far from the real meaning! the real meaning is basically “if I will do something bad, I will punish myself”. Can you see the difference?!
What this has to do with affiliate marketing?
It doesn’t have to be related. I am also a spiritual person and can write in my blog about all kinds of stuff ![]()
But actually it is related - those principles, if understood and practiced, can give you all the success that you want. It can make you a super affiliate, a successful business man, an entrepreneur or whatever you want!
And here are some basic principles you can use right now:
- Don’t deceive your customers (maybe you will think: what about my presell landing page where I say “my name is Kimberly Smith and I lost 50 pounds in 5 days”. This is tough, I know! I have one of those landing pages too!)
- Share your profit - be willing to share your profit even if it is a small amount with friends, family or someone in need.
- Don’t be jealous in other affiliates success.
- Don’t be arrogance with other people.
- Always present yourself as who you really are. Don’t try to be something you are not (this is very important for blog writers…)
- Don’t think or act miserly.
- Do your best to Keep your promises.
- Create partnerships and joined ventures only with honest people. Even if you have an opportunity with rich but dishonest partner…
- Don’t feel happy when your competitors lose - there is a piece of the pie for everyone.
- Be thankful for the people (and tools) that helped you achieve your goals or gain success (even if you paid money for it! you can still be thankful).
You should think about these principles each day and even write down your experiences during the day. Actually, in the book he guides how to create a special daily diary for mental registraions, But I won’t write about it now, I will leave something for the book
It can be difficult to comprehend how “acting nice” can bring more conversions for the product you are promoting… But maybe other mental registration would have got you to choose other product, or other method of promoting… You can never know what works.
The principle of mental registrations (or Karma) is practiced and proved to work at the easten world for a thousands of years.
I feel it is true. Like a lot of affiliates I also tried some funky and not so truthful techniques along the way. I asked myself sometimes - “should I do it or not”? And a lot of times I did the funky thing… Probably because I wasn’t aware of the great power of those mental registrations… It was more important for me to go ahead with this technique I have in mind because maybe it can lead to greater conversions…
From now I will do my best to practice those principles and the other principles written in the book daily, and become successful as I wish for
I wish you all the success and abundance in the world,
The New Rich
What Does The New Rich Mean, Anyway?
Posted on Jun.15, 2009, under Goals, New Rich Thoughts
Life doesn’t have to be so damn hard. It really doesn’t. Most people, have spent too much time convincing
themselves that life has to be hard, working 9-5 in the office in exchange for (sometimes) relaxing weekends and the occasional keep-it-short-or-get-fired vacation.
People don’t want to be millionaires - they want to experience what they believe only millions can buy.
The fantasy is not $1,000,000. The fantasy is the lifestyle of complete freedom it supposedly allows.
The New Rich is sub-culture of people. People who freed themselfs from the limits of time and mobility. Those people can choose where they want to be in the world and what they want to do. They don’t have to be rich with cash! Because the currency of The New Rich is time and mobility.
And this is where I see myself. I am already on my path to create the lifestyle I desire. Right now, I can be anywhere and you won’t even know, I can be on the beach in Hawaii, I can be drinking coffee at Starbucks in Manhattan or traveling to a distant village in India. Hail to the cellular internet!
My final goal in this path is having passive income that will give me all the time, mobility and freedom I need. I want to travel the world all my life. I want to see places, meet people, do stuff and of course, help others and contribute back to the world.
Of course I aim high, but if this passive income will be $2000 a month and this will give me the freedom I want, it will be enough for me!
I invite you all to join The New Rich
By the way, the concept of The New Rich is borrowed from the book The 4-Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferriss, really great book.
System Reset
Posted on Dec.13, 2008, under New Rich Thoughts
This week was very difficult for me. It was more difficult to me than I thought it will. I work a lot, about 12 hours a day, mostly in affiliate marketing. I am having a hard time managing my time. I feel each minute is crucial. It can be a minute of success or failure, profit or loss. I need to think what to do with my time. Will it be creating a new Adwords campaign? Selling on ebay? Email marketing? Programing? Or reading blogs? Studying?
What would it be… What will have the most positive outcome?
This week I didn’t had any income, except of the Old Coins Cashflow. I tried to take advantage of the Christmas and created a special campaign for that, it didn’t succeed well… I will uncover it in a later post.
Generally I had only two sales from my affiliate marketing efforts. I felt disappointment this week and it wasn’t easy for me. I expected more from myself…
So this weekend I invited myself to a conversation with me:
Me: “Why the hell are you feeling so bad?”
Myself: “You know, I consider myself as a talented creative person. I was sure it will be easier for me. Why I do not succeed, why???”
Me: “Godaam you! You only started walking on this path! Less than a month! Be patient! You are expecting immediate success but it doesn’t work like this…”
Myself: “You are right… Also I feel I don’t have enough time. I sit in front of the computer all day long and I never accomplish everything I want for the day”
Me: “How many things one person can do in a day? You try to do: affiliate marketing, ebay, adsense, mail marketing, freelance jobs, create websites, read books, go to courses, practice Yoga, write a blog… Any one of those can be a full time work… Let go… Try to do less but better… Relax…”
And the chat went on and on…
So this weekend I am doing a system rest. Tommorow is a new week. I will relax, take everything more slowly and let go of exaggerated expecations from myself.
I believe everyone have difficulties of this kind. I will be happy to hear yours
Reporting live fro freedom’s path,

Just kidding
While I did get a check from Google, it wasn’t for that much. As you can see in the Richometer…
But I like this image. It is great encouragement. Encouragement is very important.
I want to share with you something that I do. Every day, first thing at morning. I am doing few minutes meditation and after this I do autosuggestion.
What do I mean by autosuggestion? I mean that each day I repeat my goals, and by this inserting them to my sub-conscious. Every day I tell myself how much I will earn and what I will do to earn it. I imagine myself seeing the amount I want in my account balance and then recieving the check. I imagine my happiness and the feeling of satisfaction.
I believe this is very important and I recommand you all doing it every morning. Say every day and really mean in. Your dreams will come true ![]()
Who am I? Why are you here?

I have just quit my job.
Was my boss an angry asshole? Not at all. He was one of the greatest bosses I ever had. Was my workplace a cubicle-florescent-LCD habitat for programmers? Not at all. It was a nice studio with music and sunlight. Was my job boring? Nope. I programmed flash games and interactive websites.
So why did I quit my job?
Because I had a dream…
In my dream I was free from the rat race, working for myself, whenever I want, where I want and the way I want. Or better than that - I travel the world with my girlfriend, every now and then logging in to my laptop to check that everything is okay and my money is still working for me.
So many times in life we want to do something and we are afraid. Or we are just waiting for that perfect moment, we are waiting for all the lights to become green: “I don’t have enough money”, “I don’t know what I will do”, “I am afraid of my wife”, “I have nice paycheck”… well, let me tell you something - all the lights will never be green. If you will wait too much, you will find yourself working in the office 8 to 5 (at best) to the rest of your life.
So I quit my job and started walking the path to join the New Rich.
I believe you may have the same thoughts or… you are already in the same path as me.
In my blog I would like to share with you my insights my experiences. Although this post was little philosophical, they won’t all be. I will also share with you real practical information, advices and techniques that I will discover along the way.
Of course you are most welcome to share too.
I welcome you and hope you will enjoy the New Rich Blog!
Yours,
The New Rich
